Terms and Conditions

The College Ke Tashanbaaz Contest (Contest) is a talent-hunt competition being organized by South Asia FM Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 and having its registered office at Murasoli Maran tower, 73, MRC Nagar Main Road, MRC Nagar, Chennai 600 028 RedFM. This Contest will discover and recognize the best talent from city colleges across the country and invite them to show their talent to engage and connect with listeners

Please read these Terms and Conditions T&Cs carefully as they form a binding legal agreement between the participants You/Your/Participants and RedFM with respect to the Contest. You may not participate in the Contest and are not eligible to receive any prizes unless You agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Your registration for the Contest constitutes Your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

Contest Duration

• The duration of the Contest is from 18th Aug 2025 to 14th Sept 2025 .
• The Contest Winner for each city will be announced during the Grand Finale held in each city, the dates of which will be announced after the Contest begins.

Eligibility

• Any participation in the Contest is voluntary, and the Contest is being made available purely on a best effort basis. There is no entry fee nor any purchase necessary to participate in this Contest.
• This Contest is open to Indian college students currently studying in partner colleges, of a sound mind and no criminal record. RedFM will verify the registration of every candidate with a valid college photo ID proof at the venue of the Contest.

Participants Below 18 Years of Age

• All applicants who are below eighteen (18) years of age at the time of registration must accurately declare their age on the Website during registration under "Comments".
• If such a participant qualifies for the Grand Finale, participation shall be conditional upon the submission of a duly completed and signed parental/guardian consent form, in the format prescribed by RedFM, within the deadline communicated.
• Failure to (i) declare age truthfully at the eligibility stage, or (ii) provide the required consent form within the stipulated time, shall result in immediate disqualification from the Contest.
• The Organizers reserve the right to verify age and consent documentation of any participant at any stage of the Contest.
• RedFM reserves the right to exclude any person from the Contest on grounds of misconduct or criminal behaviour.

How to Enter

• The interested candidates can access the Contest Website on www.collegeketashanbaaz.in (Website). In order to participate, You will choose Your talent under the "Talent" category as well as the name of Your college from the list of partner colleges available on the Website.
• Each individual candidate is only eligible to participate for a specific “Talent” category only. Candidates are not permitted to enrol for multiple Talent categories during the Contest. .Once You select Your college, You will be prompted to provide your full name, date of birth and mobile number.
• Upon providing the required information, the Website will send an OTP to the mobile number provided by You to complete the registration process.
• After registration, a profile page will be created for registered Participants containing the provided details. Participants would then have the option to add a profile picture, social media links and such other details to their profile as they may desire. Once the profile is created, Your name and college will be visible to other Participants who have registered for the Contest.
• RedFM may use your profile picture, social media links and other submitted details to promote your participation in the Contest. You are encouraged to review our Privacy Policy to better understand the manner in which RedFM handles your personal information.
• Once participants have registered on the Website, they will receive further communications via e-mails, social media on-air announcements.

Contest Terms

• Once the Contest is announced, colleges in each city/their representatives/students will be required to reach out to RedFM representatives on the designated WhatsApp number to express their intent to partner with RedFM for the Contest. The final list of partner colleges will be decided by RedFM at its sole discretion. The exact schedule of auditions will be announced once college partners are finalized.
• If your current college is not listed on our Website, you may recommend it for participation in the Contest by submitting its details through the Website.
• To ensure a smooth process, we strongly encourage you to coordinate with your college representatives in advance before submitting the recommendation.
• The auditions in each city will take place in the colleges which have partnered with RedFM.
• Participants are mandatorily required to carry their college issued photo IDs to the audition for verification of identity and credentials.
• Each audition will be judged by inhouse Red FM Jury, who will select two Participants from each college for the Grand Finale.
• In case any selected participant does not turn up during the final round, Red FM reserves the right to select any participant from the remaining list of participants.

Wild Card Entry

• The Participants who registered but were unable to perform/ arrive at the venue of the auditions at the enrolled colleges, due to legitimate reasons, will have another opportunity to be chosen for the Grand Finale as a "Wild Card" entry. Individuals looking to apply for Wild Card entry will be required to provide necessary details on the Website - name, number, phone number, social media handles.
• Participation in the audition phase shall be subject to RedFM"s confirmation of the credentials of the Wild Card entry, and the legitimate reasons provided to miss the original audition date.
• Students from colleges other than partner colleges can also participate in Tashanbaaz through Wild card entry. .
• Once all college auditions are over, Red FM Internal Jury will screen the entries to arrive at the shortlisted Wild Card Participant, who will then compete with other college finalists in the grand finale.
• Red FM reserved sole discretion on selection the wild card entries on set internal procedures.
• Once the voting period commences, a voting button will get activated on each of the Shortlisted Participants profiles, including the wild card selected entry on the Website. Any person can cast a vote on the Website by providing their name and phone number, and by authenticating their vote via OTP verification. A single voter can vote for a particular Participant only once, using their authenticated phone number. .All captured votes will be counted and the participant with the most number of votes will win the title of most voted tashanbaaz.
• The winner of the Contest in each city will be selected by a panel of judges present during the Grand Finale, the schedule of which will be shared with all the Participants after the finalists are selected.
• The winner of the Grand Finale in each city will be entitled to a cash prize of INR 11,000 (Prize).
• Each city will have a separate Grand Finale, and there will be no nation-wide Grand Finale.
• The decision of the judges panel regarding the winner of the Prize shall be final and binding.

Audience Voting on Grand Finale

• During the Grand Finale, the audience will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite participants to win gift hampers from our favourite Contest sponsors. Votes will be collected through the Contest Website and within the voting period declared at the Grand Finale.
• Only votes submitted during the official voting window will be considered valid.
• Each audience member may cast votes strictly in accordance with the voting rules communicated on the day of the Finale. Participants receiving the highest number of valid audience votes shall be eligible to receive special gift hampers.
• In the event of a tie or technical malfunction, RedFM reserve the right to determine the winners using an alternate method, at their sole discretion. RedFM"s decision on the validity of votes and winner determination for the gift hampers shall be final and binding. General Terms
• These Contest Terms are in addition to the RedFMs Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, to which You agree with Your continued use. In the event of any conflict between general terms, and these TCs, with respect the Contest, these TCs shall prevail, only for the purposes of this Contest.
• The TCs represent the entire understanding between the parties for their participation in the Contest.
• RedFM is not responsible for the efficiency and delivery of the Contest, and does not make any further representations with respect to the outcome of Your participation.
• The participants represent and warrant that all the information provided by them is factual and are not incorrect. RedFM has the full authority to disqualify any entry for the Contest in the event that falsifications are detected in the information provided by the Participant.
• The Contest Prize is non-transferable, and cannot be substituted for any other gift, or in kind, by the Participants. The Prize will be transferred to the winner via a bank transfer, to their authorized bank account.
• To claim the Contest Prize, the winner will have to submit identity proof and address proof, and their banking details. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted, or fails to claim their Prize within 7 days from the date of communication from RedFM, the Prize will be transferred to the next winner chosen by the judges.
• In the event that an individual under the age of 18 seeks to claim the Contest Prize, the winner will have to submit identity proofs, address proof and banking details of their legal guardian./ parents,. The Contest Prize can solely be claimed by the parents of an individual under the age of 18, subject to RedFM"s verification.
• Auditions or performances showcasing copyrighted, obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. RedFM retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content
• You/Participants hereby agree to indemnify and keep indemnified RedFM from any and all claims in respect of any aspect of the audition/performance of the Participant, or any violation of the TCs of this Contest
• RedFM reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this contest, including extending, withdrawing or discontinuing the same without notice, without assigning any reason, at its sole discretion without any liability. Any modification in the terms of the Contest shall be notified to the Participants by RedFM, as soon as reasonably feasible.
• RedFM is not responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability, whatsoever, caused to any Participants in connection with this Contest or by participation in that regard
• RedFM shall not be liable under or in connection with these TCs or for this Contest or using the Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the Participant and RedFM and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
• RedFM accepts no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this Contest. RedFM does not accept responsibility for 1 lost, late or undelivered entries or 2 any technical or access issue, failure, malfunction or difficulty that might hinder the ability of a participant to enter the Contest or 3 any event which may cause the Contest to be disrupted.
• In addition to these terms conditions, other specific terms may be imposed by RedFM from time to time to deal with any unforeseen situations. RedFM also reserves the absolute right to change the terms and conditions contained herein and, or, any other rules and regulations in respect of the Contest at any time without any notice, the itinerary, without assigning any reason and without any liability whatsoever. Participants are requested to refer to such other terms and conditions, if any, which may be intimated separately as RedFM considers fit. However, no obligation is cast on RedFM to separately intimate each individual Participant with regard to such additional terms and conditions.
• Mere participation should not be perceived as any commitment on the part of RedFM to select a participant as the winner. Nothing herein amounts to a commitment by RedFM to conduct further, similar or other contests in future.
• By voluntarily participating in this Contest, You consent to the use of Your name, image, entry for the creation of any publicity, marketing material by RedFM, in its sole discretion. The retention, storage of any personal data of the Participants by RedFM shall be in accordance with RedFM"s privacy policy and applicable data privacy laws in India
• Any disputes, differences and/or any other matters in relation to and arising out of this Contest and, or pertaining to these TCs shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Conciliation Act, 1996. The venue of arbitration shall be Chennai. The Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws in India and will be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai alone. The Rules of Indian Council of Arbitration Rules shall apply to the arbitration proceedings and the arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator to be appointed as per the Rules.
